So as a crazy booked and busy engineering professor, I typically only write during #NaNoWriMo (November) or #CampNaNoWriMo (April, July) but I'm finding that this is not enough. The stories swimming in my head need more attention. My most recent book to be finished, Heart Lessons: Jordyn's Journey, was started in November 2023. It has already been through beta reading and has just been sitting there staring at me waiting on me to revise and get to the editor. My goal is to always release a book every July because that is my birthday month. So far, I made it in 2022 (Elevated Inferno: Monet's Moment) and 2023 (Breaking Point: Chandler's Choice). Will 2024 be the year that I fail? If I don't get back on this writing horse, it will be. I hate to say it but my day job is getting in the way of my side gigs. Also the recent release of my There's A Robot! children's book series has derailed the #BlackSTEMRomance #MakingSTEMSteamy train.
So think of this blog post as long overdue and a way of you holding me accountable. This is my commitment to make sure that Jordyn and Zion's love story does see the light of day in 2024, preferably July 2024. I have decided that no matter what type of book it is, I must step up my game and publish at least two books per year. So while we are waiting for me to get my behind in gear, please enjoy some of the #AIArt inspired by my vision for Zion and Jordyn's love story.

Book 1 follows Monet on her journey to earn her master of science in computer science with a focus on using robotics to help children with autism. She is on her way to her dream internship when the elevated breaks down and Rhy, the handsome firefighter, rescues her. Book 2 follows Chandler on her journey to be a nurse because of her heart for helping people. Moses, the firefighter, is a speed bump along the way to her achieving her goal. Those are your teasers, you have to get the books if you need more than that.
